• One on one, with his powers, no-one can stand up to him if he had full control, two on one, it would take two who have the right combination of abilities. He's not immortal or anything and can be killed. Nobody really knows the full extent of what he can do, Jordan has an idea of it, only because his father told him, not even Blake knows the full extent of what he can do,.. but the abilities aren't really that extreme. He can teleport to a range of five miles, only to places he's been. He can fly, has extremely high tuned reflexes and speed and do all kinds of other neat things, but toe-toe with Superman, he'd lose quickly. Fortunately, Blake isn't an ambitious person, nor is he inclined toward world domination.
• Blake is a pretty big threat to Jordan... if he was actually ambitious, but he's not. Even so, Blake would not be running the city, because his father had already decided on Jordan, and resented Blake for being even more qualified.
• Blake doesn't THINK before he does most things. He's not the most prepared person there is. He's never on time for anything. He wouldn't have a clue how to take out Supes and probably wouldn't think to research it. He's smart,... just a bit lazy and rushed. He's also VERY selfish. *And ... has zero tact, tells people what he's thinking before THINKING about what he's saying and is a slacker in just about everything.*
• Heart attacks and heart problems are so rare... and are usually FIXED before a child is born,.. that they don't even bother teaching what to look for anymore to their healers. Most of the healers have the ability to 'restore' a body to it's genetic condition as it should be,.. so that a heart problem that develops can be fixed, a genetic heart problem is permanent unless 'fixed' in vitro. There are select doctors who cover this area, primarily working in making sure that each baby is born as healthy as it can be. *Magdalena refused any such care for Blake, for many reasons.* Hence... none of Blake's brothers and sisters have the problem and nobody knows HE has it, because nobody knows what to look for and he hasn't told anyone. There's like.. zero information other than what his father went through and you can bet he didn't pay attention to anything other than his father's heart failed. Another of those.. it can't possibly happen to me situations.
• Blake IS a nice guy, but a bit too truthful for his own good. He says what's on his mind and enjoys keeping himself busy. He's also a bit caught up in his own life and the things he's doing to the point of being a person who LIVES in the now and doesn't worry about the future or the past. Once it's lived, it's gone and it means nothing to him. It's just time. He's accepting of the things around him because he sees no point in making waves. He doesn't have any 'goals', no expectations of himself or any aspirations. He's been so beaten down by his father, he's just there.
• He hasn't QUITE realized that at this time,.. he CAN do anything he wants to and has the power to back it up.
• Blake's a mamma's boy, big time. He acts completely different around mommy.
• Donovan had selected Jordan to be his heir, then Blake was born two years later. Donovon had been so angry that he'd demanded that Magdalena get an abortion, but she stood up to him on that account. Each of her children had been born with one thing in mind by their father, to take them and guide them to follow his ways. From the moment of their birth, Donovon had been more involved with them than Magdalena had. She had slightly resented that her part in their childhood was limited until Donovon lost interest and moved on to the next child.

Magdalena didn't see a reason not to have Blake. He was there and he was apparently meant to be so she would be a mother again, and this time, since Donovon was so devoted to teaching Jordan and had been for longer than the others, he would truly be hers. She couldn't have been more right about that. Donovon was not present for Blake's birth. He refused to see the child at all and ordered that he never be anywhere that he might see him. Donovon didn't name him. He wasn't there for his first birthday,.. his second or third,...

• At 19, he had no particular aim in life other than to live for the day. When he was ten, he had finally been allowed to meet his father and had felt just how hated he was. The boy had burst into tears, only making Donovon all the angrier at his existence. He avoided his father, even though he was now allowed to play with his brothers and sisters. Blake never understood exactly why it was that Donovon never liked him.
• Blake swore to himself, even as a child that he would never be like that to any of his kids when he had them. He'd be nice to them and never upset them. Donovon had been cold to the boy, finding him a threat to his favored son, Jordan.
• While younger he had wanted to be a judge badly in order to impress his father. He strode around trying to be helpful. It was like he had a constant chip on his shoulder to make sure that everyone was being treated fairly,… and being the son of a judge meant that he got his way. He wasn't the bullying type. Instead, he went after the bullies and a day would not pass without one or two of them ending up treading water in the gymnasium. Blake was never reprimanded for it. That was just the way things were. He was expected to end up as a judge.
• On his 15th birthday he was informed he could not become a judge, his father forbade it.
• He had graduated early from high school because he was simply bored. From there,… he was just that,.. there. He had nowhere to go. As the son of a judge, the only job open to him was to BE a judge, but his father had forbidden that route.
• He later formed a realtionship with Saida and devoted most of his life toward her. Then his father died and Jordan assumed the title of Supreme Judge. His first act was to execute Saida on her date with Blake for being a Sinthe while Blake watched.
• Enraged but holding back, Blake left. Obtaining a list of Subbers to be executed, he decided to hide one to annoy Jordan. Realizing he went to school with everyone on the list, he picked the least familiar name - Sasha Cole
• He tracked her down while she tried to escape the Inquisitors, stunned her, and hid her in Priade Cathedral, leaving her with Hypre, a pet originally meant for Saida but never given. He later realized she was the younger sister of an old childhood playmate, Diana Cole.
• He later learned to like her and decided to aid her escape to Texas.
• He found out that Donovan had made arrangements for him to 'be married to Cassi Marie Avoire to further the purity of our ruling class and ensure a strong future' on his 20th birthday, and be required to move to Canada. To facilitate this, he left Blake no inheritance and no place to stay.
• On meeting his wife to be, she attacked him and he was forced to kill her, while her family tried to conquer the city. He decided to go with Sasha to Texas.
