* Oran and Noira don't actually do the drugs they dealt. Noira because it's in her upbringing to NOT touch them.... unfortunately, it's also keeping her from getting help for another problem. She's kind of one of those people who block out all the opportunities for aid that are there without thinking about it. There's help for her. She doesn't have to live that way. The city would help her find a job... although that might actually require her MOVING out of the city. The wolven way of government has it set up where transportation and a place to live are pretty much standard. (And the people are taxed for their providence.) There is no excuse not to work SOMEWHERE. She just probably wouldn't like the job because she doesn't have many skills or any drive. She doesn't have any drive because she's severely depressed. Most of it is just that she doesn't 'see' what's going on around her and by the time she does, it's too late... and she feels helpless... *coughcough* I'm(Syke)kinda surprised that nobody has questioned the relationship between Rama and Noira and exactly what occurred there... that may have led to her being the way she is.

She was taken in by [[Alpha Akaelae|Alpha]] under his protection, but she ended up wanting to leave some four years later and escaped, taking Vin with her. They settled in the slum section of Centralis where they would live hand-to-mouth, never seeking government aid, not even for Vin's sake. Possibly for fear of being discovered by Rama. It was around that time she met Oran and became a drug dealer with him (both of them, especially Noira, did not do drugs because it was in her upbringing NOT to touch them). There was another job that she worked at (prostitution?) during the night that Vin did not know of. Nonetheless; this kept Noira from getting help.

Noira had left Oran for a time because he was an abusive Wolf, but let him back into her life once again. And was subjected to being forced to watch him abusing Vin. Later, she wrote an apparently hateful note to Vin. But in reality, she wrote it so that Vin would not be compelled to go looking for her. She really wanted him to have a better life without her and wrote the note because Oran is illiterate. Not aware that Rama was outside the whole time, clearly displeased over the events that transpired against Vin.

Biography
