Along with the Jackelopes, the tree kangaroos were designed to pilot ships. Nil is the only tree kangaroo that has appeared in the GNIPs. She was found "uplinked" to a space ship, acting as its AI. Not much is known about the species as a whole, because Nil is the only known member, and she only understands existence as a ship.
