The Roisok is an armored creature looking much like an armadillo that spends most of its time digging for roots and insects. They're very inquisitive and can often be found underfoot,... since very little can harm them. The bonelike plating on their backs is darker than their skin color and made up of interlocking plates which makes it very easy for them to move. They are fairly fast and predators have a problem biting into them because of the armor and their ability to tunnel very quickly. More than one predator has broken teeth by biting into a Roisok for the first time. Their coloration is gold to red, earth tones with shells of the same variations up to black.
