• He had arrived home late when his wife was in labor, got there just in time to see the fox guards throw two of his kits into the river for being born elite.
• Was on a trip to deliver a package from Exotica Genoworks to Randin Siere - a pair of kangaroo kits to be used as pets (for Randin's son, who had a habit of mistreating pets).
• The kits reminded him of his lost kits, so he named them Shadou and Miste and kept them himself.
• Tried to hi-jack the Sink or Swim ship to escape, eventually turned over the kits to Cere and her crew.
• Later moved to Centralis with his family.
