Trivia
Miste is one of two joeys who, unlike many of the older roos, were never modified to be soldiers, and were sold as art as per their original purpose. Miste and her "brother" Shadou were rescued by a Gold fox named Kaemin, who was supposed to deliver them to his employer who had bought them as pets for his kits. Kaemin realized that Shadou and Miste were thinking, feeling creatures, just like his own kit. He named them after his White and Black kits who were killed for being Elites, and tried to smuggle them to freedom. His attempt to steal a ship was foiled when he made the mistake of trying to take one being piloted by Ash, but the older roos helped get the joeys to saftey themselves, entrusting them to the care of the Akaelaes.
