• Riva is the son of Triv and brother of Vas. He's more laid back and quite a bit more cautious than his brother, but the larger of the two.
• Takes after his father in temperament.

• Wandering with Triv and Vas after Kride, Kie and Ede were all shot by Newcomers while they were scavenging a domesticated Ridgeback killed by a [[:Category:Scythetail|Scythetail]. (Vas, strip 17)
• Traveling to the mountains with only Triv after Vas got separated from them in a fire (Vas, strip 56) - hoping for his return (Vas, strip 116)
