Experience with RPing, MUSHs/MUDs, etc.: Been playing pen-and-paper RPG's since I was about ten years old (1987) and been RP'ing on the net for the past five years starting on IRC. I currently RP on various MUCKs including ChaosMUCK (Based on the non-sucky version of the Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon), PhoenixMUCK (A generic anime-themed MUCK), and Tapestries (Not gonna go into detail about that particular MUCK).

Personality: Quiet. That would be the word. She doesn't talk unless she has anything relevant to say and generally keeps to herself, earning the nickname "Spooky" by her peers. Although around kids, she really tends to open up and the kids also seem to adore her, which is one of the various reasons she chose pediatric medicine as the career she wanted. If you do manage to get her into a conversation, you'd see that she is a very intellegent person and tends to be rather philosophical.

Likes: As mentioned before she loves kids and they love her. She values her personal space and also has a love for books, having spent a few years in an abandoned library when she was a refugee on Earth.

Dislikes: Foxes, particularily males, due to the harsh treatment by some of her 'caretakers' when she was growing up at Exotica Genoworks. She knows that most of the foxes on Mars Academy are not bad, but old fears and hatreds are a hard thing to break. She's also extremely claustrophobic, having spent the majority of her youth crammed in tiny living quarters with her eight brothers. She also hates not being taken seriously because she looks so young. Oh, and she hates her wings. They make buying clothes a pain since she has to alter them for the membranes between her sides and her arms and having only three digits to manipulate things with is a bit annoying.

Strong points: Spooky takes a little bit of effort to befriend, but when she's your friend, she's loyal to the end. As previously mentioned, she also adores children and they tend to take a real liking to her.

How does she interact with others: She interacts fairly well when she has to, but tends to keep to herself alot, oftentimes seen reading a book (The paper kind with pages and stuff).

Abilities, hobbies, skills, etc: She's very knowledgable in all sorts of things, having read through every book in the abandoned library she used to live in at least twenty times each. She is particularly skilled in the medical field, having proven herself on many occasions when someone managed to get themselves injured. Abilitywise, she is very light (About 60lbs at the most) and with her membranous wingspan, she can glide for short distances and ride updrafts. Her hearing is very acute, which can also be a disadvantage at times too. And with her echolocation making up for her very poor eyesight, she can navigate places where most humans and cyantians cannot see. Her diminutive frame also makes it easy for her to navigate small spaces such as ventilation ducts and service crawlways.

Background info: Diedre is the product of Exotica Genoworks to develop the perfect asassin/spy. She was the only female among the nine of her kind that were created and usually suffered greatly at the hands of the male foxes who greatly exploited this fact. At the age of 16, with the help of her brothers, and a band of sympathetic foxes who were against Exotica and all it stood for, Diedre managed to escape. She lived on Earth in abandoned library in Albuquerquie, NM for five years she was discovered by a Cyantian observation group and was taken to Mars. She lived on an outpost there for about two and a half years, earning her keep by working at a nursery before she decided to go to the academy to pursue a career in pediatric medicine.

Description: She stands at a diminutive 4'6" and appears to be around the age of fourteen, although she really is in her twenties. She's covered in ruddy brown fur except for her muzzle and spilling down her belly ending at her groin, which is a tannish color. Her arms are very similar to the wings of a bat, with slightly elongated forearms, but only two fingers serving as supports for her leathery wing membranes which extend from her back to the end of each arm. Her thumb, index finger, and middle finger serving as regular digits to manipulate objects. Wingspan is an estimated six feet. Being of the chiropteran variety, her ears are simply enourmous, adding a good six and a half inches to her total height. Her wardrobe is simple. She has several pairs of blue jeans she picked up during her stay on Earth and several tee shirts and blouses altered to fit her wings via several strings and grommets pierced into her wings. Usual footwear is a pair of old comfortable jungle boots. She wears a really thick pair of spectacles that sit on the end of her muzzle since she can barely see worth squid.

Goals: To make something of herself, despite her limitations and other people's perceptions of her. She also wants to find out what happened to her brothers and free them if they're still alive.

Thoughts on her species: She thinks she's a freak and is quite sure others think of her that way too. There isn't a day that she doesn't wish that she wasn't born as a normal species, even fox if she was given that oppurtunity.

Thoughts on other species: As mentioned before, she is rather embittered towards foxes, particularily males, although there are exceptions at the academy. Other species, she's really indifferent to, if not envious.
