Along with the Goodfellow's kangaroos, jackelopes were designed to run ships. Jackelopes are basically a rabbit variation, with different sets of horns. Their abillities include memorizing and recalling maps and starcharts flawlessly. There are several hundred of them.

The Cyantian rabbits used were of the jackrabbit persuasion, making them a good foot taller, leggier, and much more wirery than the average Rabbit. Tails are about the same.
