This is the branch Quill and Needles belong to.
They were the first generation of Skunk types. The scientists thought it would be interesting to give them quills for aesthetic purposes, but their splicing kind of messed up. They're only partially porcupine for the quills. The attempt to de-scent them was inaccurate and instead, they have a very powerful and hard to remove odor, as well as can spray quite a distance. So they were transferred to the Militia department for them to do with as they wanted.
They also seem to have the ability to change their size, much the way a Cil Hybrid can assume a T4 (hulk) form. Exotica Genoworks developed a field of some sort to dampen their ability to do this.
